hi larriken ,that resister unit there are a couple on ebay at present ,but i think on the other side of the world ,if you find a fix for it if you can share it ,its a shame the amp meter gauge never really was that accurate i have never seen a working and steady one that does not jump about ,but there are plenty of other things to be looking at when pushing along ,david

Well the workshop is now officially packed away and no playing with the Zed for a week or two now. As soon as we have shifted and I get a chance to set up my new workshop we will be back in action! Got a few bits ready for painting so at least something is still ticking away while I'm moving.
Look at that! Off the work bench and on her own two wheels!

I have a big pile of starters of various origins that I am working through to get one good starter. Ordered new brushes and seals from Rick's Electrics and things are looking promising. Now that I have figured out what works and what doesn't I can clean up the parts and put one back together. Never done this before so it's been a bloody interesting process. Learn something new everyday lol.
Oh yes and still working on the wiring :S Think I am winning now as I have basically connected up a full loom on the floor and am in the process of cross checking it with the new PMC loom I bought. I won't be using original switch blocks so a bit of wiring to sort but definitely getting closer.

Started on this nasty looking excuse for a rear brake master cylinder. Due to funds getting low at the moment I am going to rebuild it rather than try an source one in better condition. More fun that way too.
Whats the chances anyone out there has a good reservoir bowl they would sell me? This one is nasty and isn't going to clean up well. Photo is of the good side too!
