Zombie 750 so far in a nut shell.
12 Apr 2016 13:53
Excuse the theatrics. I was quite i'll a little while ago, and off work. So I put this together as somewhat of a "middle finger" to a small group of acquaintances that said I'd never get the thing to turn. Let alone run.
So far I've spent around £300(uk). And that's mostly on the seat, pipes, and a several boxes of carb parts.
This is just the hi lights and I would never have got anywhere if it weren't for all the advice, debates and conversations I've been able to view here.
(Usually without being involved but always graitfull)
So this is the story so far and all thanks to KZR!

Its good to see that you saved another Kaw, and nice video..
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Well the music sucked but the bike running again was AWESOME.
Hey - I too know what it's like to be out of commission for a while and have people tell you "You'll never get that bike running again" - furthermore they often said "look at YOU and the condition YOU'RE in - YOU'LL never ride again" well this is just the type of middle finger needed to show 'em all WTF they know about a broken down old ... zombie!
Kudos to you, necromancer!
-Sigh.

Same here. Bossie sat under the tree for 15 years. I started working on her and the prick next door was laughing at me with his friends drinking beer. I had no money, I had just got out of the hospital  . I painted and polished things that hadn't been touched in 30 years. Got a battery and fired her up. "It will never see the street, why don't you sell it? Ha,ha,ha,ha." Finally got a tire on the back. This jerk would rev up his speed boat when I was working on Bossie. F it, I rocked her off the centerstand, revved her up and cut a trench in the dirt drive between us, then tore up the street. :woohoo: As I came past them the young guy said, "I thought you said it would never run." HURMPH as he walked away. In about 6 months she was registered and on the road. He tried being friendly after that but I ignored him until he moved. GOOD RIDDANCE. ![B) B)](/media/kunena/emoticons/1.png)
