Yep tensioner installed. Didn't have any problems this time. Did a few rotations and everything stayed put. For shits and giggles I pulled all the spark plugs out and turned it over a few times with a wrench and unfortunately I can't tell a difference when turning the motor over. May mean nothing may mean something.seen a post on another site where a guy turned his motor over with a impact to get compression readings without having a starter, ever heard of doing this? If I end up having to do the whole top end then I do. Would love to not have to though

I would wait for the starter, would suck the shear that bolt of in the crank.

Well it's been a little while since I posted. I ended up finding a 97 kz1000p sitting behind a mom and pop harley shop. It hadn't run in 10 years and had been sitting outside for those 10 years. Put a battery in it and hit it with some starting fluid and she fired right up! The shop got it in 06,sent it to a kawasaki shop and had the carbs done and valves adjusted then didn't have any luck selling it so just parked it and let it sit. I picked it up and have been taking parts off the 95 and swapping them over to the 97 for the last few weeks.I cleaned the carbs as soon as I got it home, worst carbs I'd ever seen. I put 15" apes on it and had to order cables from motion pro, they should be in next week. Had a brake line made here in town and extended the electrical myself. Did the rear wheel bearings yesterday and I'll do the fronts today. Next on the list is fork seals. Found out the tires on the 95 are 8 years old so not going to use them, ordered new tires last night. The asphalt here in Phoenix can reach 175f in the summer so don't want to chance old tires. It's nice having a complete donor bike sitting 3 feet away!

You can adjust the size of photos via many pic editing programs standard on most computers. ................Mike

I had that problem too with a phone I used to have. I reset the photo size via the settings menu and I was fine then. Most all modern cameras and phones have that option in thier settings menu. Good luck. .........................Mike

if you go into your phone and set the camera at 8 mega pixels instead of 12/14 whatever it is currently.

you will be able to post pictures and your phone will still take really nice pictures.
