Looks great Bill. Will you put fenders on the rear?

Come on over Leon! Got to admit I did slide it around on the snow Saturday it was pretty much fun.

DoctoRot,
Yes I plan on fenders but first I'm fabricating some guards to keep the operator's feet away from the tires. Here are some pics of the aluminum tubes I've bent up and welded so far. Here they're just mocked up. I've still got to connect them to the supports for the passenger foot pegs. After I finish with them I envision some tubes that will spring up from the tops of the guards and trace arcs just above the tires eventually connecting to the deck I'll be using to carry stuff upon.

It's appears that six weeks have gone by since my last update. Hey What can I say? Shoveling snow has taken time away from my more pleasant projects.
I've been busy even so. I just got what I call the fender rails fabricated and mocked up.

They're 6061 aluminum and will support a couple of copper segmented fenders.

Bill

OK. I can't say I'm thrilled with the fenders but they'll do for a while. I cheeped out on the segmented look, may have to go back to something like that sooner or later.

Still gotta work out some carrying capacity. Thinking more like a deck than a trunk.
