NobleHops wrote: Great lead, thank you. FYI, not sure why this site has no search function, but Google works better anyway. This is the search string you'd use to search this site using Google, searching for that info. Look at how it's constructed and try it yourself with other terms and you'll get the hang of it:

site:kzrider.com stator grommet 4thekz1000

I'll read those threads later, but I'm sure il find it now, thanks again!

??? Actually, this site has a really excellent search function. See below. Ed

I don't use an iPad, but if it cannot handle the search function it would seem to me that the iPad has limited functionality rather than the KZRider site. Maybe someone else who uses an iPad has found a workaround? Ed

You can't transfer money or other things with some devices. That's why I bought my damn HP lap top.

I Had a "P"pad on the back fender of my FLH, years ago when it was stripped down clean, with a Police solo seat. It stuck on the rear fender with 4 suction cups. Helped out when you had a date! :woohoo:

2 weeks before Christmas and I just rode the FLH around the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights! 34 years, I have owned that Ol' Girl and she never drove at Christmas Time!
No snow for Buffalo (Bills Suck) 66 degrees Monday!
Sorry for the rant! Jimme cracked corn, and I don't care!

I don't really mean to get into a pud-waving contest about anything, but I did work in that business for 17 years, which is where I learned about odds and ends like this :-). This may all seem arcane to you, but the web is built upon a series of open standards that people way smarter than me created. And adherence to web standards is the only way to ensure that your website or your device are all 'singing from the same sheet of music". When one doesn't, then things break. Like this site, for instance,

One tool that web developers use to check the quality of their markup (code, programming) is the W3C validator, and all one needs to do to use it is insert the url of the site they are building and it will parse the entre code of the page and report back the errors it finds. Allowable defects for web-standard code is....none. Here's KZrider.com:

validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=http%3A%2F%2Fkzrider.com%2F

...and here's the forum home page:

validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=http%3A%2F%2Fkzrider.com%2Fforum

I think it's safe to say that the problem is not with either of the two standards-compliant web browsers on my iPad :-)

You can do it on an iPad. You have to click on the down arrow next to the word "forum" and it will bring up the submenu. It's very easy to "fat finger it" because, well, you're using your finger. It's easier if you zoom in a little.
