Got back to the bike again today and had a list of things to get done. Only got about half way through the list but made some progress at least. Sandblasted a whole a lot of bits that needed painting. Mostly just odds n sods. Put new bearings in the rear swingarm and fitted that up which was cool. Very satisfying getting stuff like this finished.

With the swingarm in I can finally fit the newly refurbished Showa shocks. Sweet!! Only stumbling block was having to remove the powder coating from the mount so the shock would fit. Love my dremel, love would be hard somedays without it lol. Fitted the rear guard and tail light too while I was at it. Starting to look sortof like a bike again.

The clocks on this bike were pretty buggered from some long past crash so I thought I would give them a sort out. The rev counter is a mess and has been repaired with some weird goo. Both mounting pins have broken and the oil light red bit has fallen in. Also the glass looks like someone drove through a puddle but on the inside! I will try and find a new rev counter but until I do have to make do with what I have so to bits it comes. Wasn't to much of a major to get inside, just a bit of patience lol! All sorted, back together and mounted and it looks good.

Started on the forks today........nasty! Pure black and grey goo with evil sediment sat the bottom of each leg.

Will clean the legs up and then off to the powder coaters.

I now have all of the bodywork back in my sticky paws! Couldn't help myself but had to mock it up and have a look. Even put the pursuit lights in. Awesome!!!

Package from the US arrived today as well from Jim at Redline Cycles. Highly recommend Jim, he has been a real help with all my bits n bobs and annoying questions. Just need to finish the engine now!!
