You always have an expectation that things are going to be a bit rough but sometimes your expectations are exceded in the wrong direction lol!

If it ends up looking anything like the one previously posted

Then you'll end up with that classic statement:
"The whole is greater then the sum of it's parts!"

I have a pretty clear idea where I am heading with the rebuild of this bike. I don't have a very big budget but I do want it to be done well. What I would like to have when it is finished is the evil twin of the standard KZ1000P. I just love the whole police bike look and I don't want to loose the big ol fairing, floorboards etc. In saying that though, it has to go like stink too!! In my head it looks awesome............here's hoping!

In my stash of parts I have set of Showa twin shocks that came off a GSX1200 Suzuki Inazuma. Would be lovely to see a set of Ohlins on it but hey, budget contraints dictate. I will give them a rebuild and clean up and hey presto, less pogo and more suspending at the back. They are 20mm shorter than standard but when they are on it sits nice and rides mint.

Also managed to get five mins in today and pop the top off the motor. Bummer, two bolts shared straight off. At least I know what I will be doing tomorrow.

Few parts starting to arrive back from the powder coaters now. Still waiting for the frame. Just need to order a set of swingarm bearings, and steering head bearings and it shouldn't be too far from having the rolling chassis complete.

To be honest most of it will get reused. Just needs a bit of sorting.
