Here's some oxidation? I need to clean up this type stuff all over

Front of pipes

Looking at the carbs from the choke
Looks like that rubber is cracked

Engine from one side

Gas tank, it has a spot like this on both sides, have no idea why

well, now I also have an 86, it's in pieces, not complete, missing a pipe and carbs for sure

I would guess the official police department logo for which ever police department it belonged to.

no, the logos were on the fairing, this is damage of some sort, kind of like bondo type texture, looks like it may have been laid down, more than once, and possibly the fairing pushed into the tank

Welcome, nice bike and good to have a spare too. The very best thing you can do first is to get a hold of a Factory Service Manual on your bike, totally invaluable!!! The torn Carburetor boot is dead. Getting these bikes to run sweetly involves a few things and that is a biggie. As others have said, please post pics, everyone loves them

That's not oxidation on the front brake handle, looks like leaking master cylinder
