The new bearings seem to build up a little higher, not much thread left for the upper stem nut..
The lower stem nut is much thicker than the upper, about 3 threads, so I think the solution would be to take a few threads of the lower nut to make room for the upper one.. I guess that will still be strong enough?

just a small update.. paint and 2K clearcoat on the headlight bucket and front legs.. almost ready to put the wheels back in and make her roll again.

nothing... i'm convinced it will not be a problem as it did not before, and by someone in another topic i started on the subject telling me it's a common thing and never gives a problem.. enough said about it for me..
besides, i have my eye on another engine that has a good chance of going in.
