I expected to see your bike in a Spongebob outfit, maybe some Spiderman spandex or something, but instead I find a nice refurbishment project...

Haha, no spongebob or spiderman, it's going to be a clean bike..
Probably it will be flat black, but I'm not sure how the complete shiny aluminium engine will fit in... we'll see..
Here's a pic of my daily ride, also a shafty...not a racer, but faster then it looks! I like the looks of it, and no spiderman there...
But the 1000 has to be a little more aggresive!![;) ;)](/media/kunena/emoticons/11.png)

Don't spoil it and go flat black. Some numb skull who had my bike before me painted it flat black and honestly it looks like shit. These aren't outlaw owned choppers. Leave the flat black paint to those guys.

That said, I agree: That blue is just too pretty!

Looking very nice!
The ST's do come out nice if done properly.
Here's mine and another one a fellow I know here in the States that did a nice cafe' version.
(unfortunately I will be selling mine in the spring as we are downsizing  )

Both sharp looking bikes!
mine will be somewhere in between as far as the looks go, some customizing, but leaving some crucial ST looks in...
what's your experience with the pods and the 4-1 exhaust next to stock?
