I was trying to find small squarish ones as I had seen some on some Japanese custom versions of the GPz but couldn't find any so...THANKS for the link!

OK, so I've been looking at the Bike-It signals DoctoRot linked. They're almost $100/shipped from the UK for 4 signals due to the weak GBP=USD conversion. I don't really feel like spending $100 on signals I'd have to paint black as I don't want the chrome. Any other suggestions?

doug i believe that i would set down and weld some beads on the ends of your existing steering stops to add material.
then grind and sand it back to where it needs to be.

I used some small square ones that are really cheap on my GPz305 project. I got them at a local bike shop for around 35 bucks for all 4. Here's a link to my 305

You had replied on my build so you've already seen them. I should have looked first. I'm a dummy.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationthose one that Hafrod has on his 305 are pretty nice. here are some black ones
www.jpcycles.com/product/305-120 for 4 with shipping it will be close to $100
how about these? the fnish isnt quite as nice but much cheaper.
or these. $40 shipped. not bad. need to paint them black though. im not sure if stems come with them either.
japan.webike.net/products/21398463.html
or these
japan.webike.net/products/1038717.html
those ones from the UK are the nicest IMO but $100 is pretty rough. sometimes somethings are worth it. maybe its time for an early birthday present to yourself.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
DoctoRot, it's funny you linked those two lights from Japan.webike. I spent about an hour yesterday looking at all the turn signals. I actually have both of those in my "cart" there along with my original choice. The $40/shipped are nearly 3" long (front to back) but they look almost exactly like the Bike-It signals but without the stem. I can turn up a stem so that's not a big deal. I'm just worried about proper grounding with it only having a power wire. But I'm sure that's easily solved.

i just ordered a speedo cable for the 80 z1r week before last from webike. took about four or five days to get and the quality was very nice.
i'm not sure what has happened to the exchange rate but things have gotten alot more affordable for us to buy parts directly from japan here lately.

Yeah, it seems less expensive that I would have thought. I need to figure out the signals so I can fab mounts, get my frame stripped, welded, refinished and I'll be on the homestretch....I hope.

Its tough trying to pick out custom components. Mainly cause theres just too much to choose from. The last ones posted by Puffin look pretty slick
