Steve - the earlier stator cover doesn't fit the MKII.

@swest MK2 crank and stator are totally different and early cover won’t fit .. 
if it had only been that straight forward lol

That's right. The cover would bolt on but the innards are different. My bad.  Carry on.

Started with getting hold of the old drag bike at the beginning of this thread that was for sale here in the UK and now here it is 8 years later!! Lots of changes but fundamentally the same old drag bike but now registered and back on the road....
