if you ever take a 750 turbo motor out of a 750 tubo bike
and put it in a old kz 650 frame
I WILL FIND YOU AND MAKE YOU PUT IT BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM
just saying that a stock 750 turbo is way worth more then a modded kz 650
always make the stock turbo
kz 650 = little girl bike

I really wanna buy a 750 turbo motor in spite of this comment, lol. 2 on ebay for sub $1k, almost a better deal.

Got my GPZ750 Turbo rods in today, can't say I'm not disappointed here. I figured there would be a bit more difference. I know the wrist pin is bigger, and the rod bolts are beefier. Hopefully there is a metallurgical difference between the two, because a 1mm bigger wrist pin doesn't justify the money imho. But who cares, I paid $200 and I've seen the rods go well past my power goals. Forged slugs coming soon!

Between the rod bolts and some minor differences, lots of parts laying on the ground! Do not be disappointed! You would be supprised at the differences in the prep work before the bolts and wrist pin size. Ask any ole hot rodder about the chevy pink rods. Heat treatment, shot peening just to mention some of the cool stuff used today that was played with 30 plus or more years ago.

Don't forget magnafluxing to detect flaws and minor cracks. All these things make for a much stronger than a stock rod.

D.Nel928 wrote: My biggest problem up until now is oil scavenging from the turbo. Will the 750 turbo pump fit on the 650 case? Any other ideas?

Edit: Found this dude, would probably do the job. Only problem is the $399 price tag!

This is an awesome pump, I looked at it when I turbo'd my TransAm. I wonder if it has too much capacity for a motorcycle engine?

I will be going with the mini actually. Turbowerx said the standard would be fine, but I like the smaller size of the mini. Kind of a bummer on the price tho :( The standard has 10,000 hour brushes in it, and the mini are only rated for 2,000. Thankfully when they do need replaced it is a very simple process.

figure 2,000 hours at only 10 mile per hour average, tally's up to 20,000 mile. Not bad!
