Hi every one, im want to share my 2nd project, im rescue a kaw :silly: i 80 kz750 ltd 1 months ago from a back yard, the conditions are to the best but for the price no complaints,its in running conditions but very rusty whitout sing of maintenance .. well here some pics. Thaks

The gas tank looked to be in pretty good condition. Original 4 -> 2 exhaust. A little rust, nice cleaning and polishing. Carbs look great although I wouldn't scrap the airbox just yet. Lots of potential.................and then I saw the paint and the apehangers.

Oh well. To each his own

I hope that was a replacement tank.An original '80 tank with gold stripes is worth mucho dinero.

ho wmuch mucho dinero? and is it only for the 80 model year, i have a perfect 83 ltd 750 twin tank that looks exactly like that (black/gold stripes) that i probably wont be using.... or is it just the 80 750-4 thats worth money?

The '80 LTD had gold pin stripes.The later year LTD's use red.Then they went to that "Swoosh" design. An OE Gold pinstripe tank is getting rare.
