Thank you Les, I'm hoping it works out really well. I'm trying to as modern as possible aside from EFI. I also have one more Xmas present from myself which should arrive the 31st..... and I believe Leon has a gift for me as well. Oooohhh I feel 10 again!!!

Merry Christmas to me

Once i get the bike rollin, with the motor in it, the hardest part will be the wiring.I should be challenging since I have to configure the 636's controls with some older stuff, the Dyna and the M unit. although I'm pretty sure the only original piece of electrics will be the Reg/ Rec. I think I'm gonna have to print out diagrams from the 636, the Kz, the Dyna, and the M unit then draw up my own diagram..... :( I see a lot of head scratching in my future

a contributing member here, between him and mfolks, and a few other members you can get thru any wiring nightmare. i had a burnt out stator, reg rect, and a bum battery all at once and i got it all straightened out fairly quickly using the testing procedures.

Ya Leon!! I can't wait to finally be able to assemble something. ive been collecting parts for 5 months. Does loudvhx have stuff archived on here or does he just chime in? I think if I can get a diagram for the 636's controls I could figure it out

That's a good question. Short answer... No clue but it appears that all r6 swingers have them. I'm assuming the motor is right up against it and needs clearance. But like I said... No friggin clue
