better go richer on your main jets, pipes are yellowing- soon to be blue. fatten up the pilot a size too. this is all automatic when you put on performance exhaust.or I could just mind my own business.

had carbs jetted for the kerker 4-1. still runs good with new pipes. pipes aren't as yellow as they appear in pics. i looked at bike after your message then looked at pics and it must be a reflection making it look like that. next summer i plan on treating down bike and do restoration and paint. and seriously thinking bout 1197 kit . definitely want to rebuild motor and tranny, even though it only has19k original miles it is still 34yrs old.

Did you put the grips on? I have the same grips in green my hand goes numb after a few hundred miles lol but they do that with the fat grips on my goldwing as well

ok, finally got things together on kz. i put grips on bike. originally was going with a black and gold scheme. they look good but i will prob replace with different style. in these pics i have lowered headlights, dropped the gauges, rear fender gone, new taillights. don't have pics of my new Ballistic 8cell battery. which is so sweet. half the weight of stock battery with twice cranking amps.
