Happy New Year everyone.Almost finished the restoration of the 81 KZ1000 LTD. Need to attach rear grab bar and change rear wheel, I'll get around to it when weather get nicer. Still working on the 78, I bored out motor to 1105 cc and rest of bike is at the paint shop, will post picture of 78 when finished. Here are some pics. I tried to download pics but not having any luck, I guess I am doing something wrong. Finally got pics in, thanks a lot Patton, and Joe, I hope you enjoy pics.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

When attempting to post a pic, could try keeping pic size within the following limits:
Width: 2400px
Height: 1200px
Size: 2048kb (2 MB)
If some version of Windows is being used as the computer operating system, the Paint program should be helpful toward manipulating the picture size, etc. prior to posting.
I can sometimes help with Paint, but don't know squat about infantview.
Good Fortune!

I got my rims for the 1981 KZ1000 finished up today as it is a holiday here in Toronto,Canada, they call it Family Day, so I spent some time with both family and bikes. I used Rustoleum oven epoxy paint and polished aluminum by hand.

I know what you mean,it comes with age, I know it is me, especially after a few drinks. I took the front end off of the 78 KZ1000 Ltd today, and will be replacing, steering bearings and triple tree, as the one I have seems to have been damaged. Upper forks are rusted and pitted, so I will be replacing them with a shortened pair of dragbike forks, that I bought on e-bay from a guy named Oinkjohnson, great guy to buy parts from, I recommend him, if you need parts. Anyways I have some pics I took of frame that will need some paint touch up, as I am not going to powder coat frame, like to keep it as close to original as possible, and pics of forks that I polished by hand, before and after.
