It's not the size that matters, but the technique, right?? At least that's what I always tell myself  :woohoo:

Simple solution to bottoming. Go to the Race Tech website here: racetech.com/page/id/105 Then click on "see what Race Tech has for your motorcycle." From there you pick out the bike that was the donor for your rear suspension. You can then click "Calculate spring rates and see available springs." This gives you a dialog box where you plug in your weights and it will recommend the correct spring. Just lie to the calculator and tell it that you have a ZX-6r (or whatever donor) that weighs 525 lbs. Then plug in your weight (be honest :) ) It will give you the correct spring to order. That's what I did on the blue streak and it works perfect. New springs are about $110 or cheaper if you can find the right one on ebay. I got the front springs there for about $70.

Keep in mind that the donor bike is probably at least 100 lbs lighter than your KZ. The right springs make all the difference.

Testarossa's thoughts are better than covering up the problem by putting a bandaid on it. If the funds allow it may be not only safer but better riding and handling.

i used the LTD head lite holder too. i fond that my chosen turn sigs posts where too short to go through the bracket and into the bucket. i made a bracket to mount the turns off of the bucket and bracket.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThis one is chrome and way over priced but I see them on there quite often for fair money.
