haha now 4 i have a 97 ford powerstroke diesel and the steering bearings just went out lol just sucks so bad but i finally got a lester mag so im happy now i gotta find the front lol.

Great pics and nice looking project! But hey....it's a '76 so it's gotta be good :woohoo:

If you don't have one, there's a good condition kz900 Factory Service Manual on e-bay right now (260810289784), they come in really handy.

The $500 one you're thinking of was sold by Johnny's Vintage MC, they know their stuff. The rear didn't meet their reserve twice and has a "Buy it now of $550." That thing was cherry, it still have the white Lester sticker on one of the spokes.

i couldnt believe it when those wheels went for so much darn they were pretty clean i was amazed. hopefuly this one i got is worth it i need to find a front but i can wait my kz wont be ready for a while.

Well its been a few months finally had a good day off yesterday to do some tinkering around in the garage.. my 900 went from this:




To this in a few hours:



put the motor in the frame put the rear wheel on and front forks and front wheel. handle bars grips and swithes. tail light and rear fender.. coming together smoothly!

Looking good... You gonna stick with the factory paint or go another direction? Im getting ready to paint my A4 here soon. Its not factory now, so thinking of doing something modern/retro..
