It will be heat wrapped and have shields were the leg has normal travel.

How sharp will the bend on cylinders 3 and 4? That looks like a rather sharp 180 degree bend.

Its 1/4 inch mild steel rod.

I used the dies from my pipe bender and the bench vice

I think I read in the "two stroke tuner's handbook" that sharp bends have NO effect as long as they are smooth and the diameter and length is correct.

My former SV650 had a VERY sharp bend from the factory.

this is my leather for the seat

got the light holes frenched in.

LEDs work well. I'll polish the inside of the tunnels for more reflection

rough fitup. tail still needs to be trimmed. It'll be about 5 inches long from the seat

dirty bike




cut down and removed the 3 1 inch baffles and replaced with a single 2 inch peforated pipe and packing





slow progress, working on getting a house with a nice shop

This is one SWEET looking ride!

I'm doing a rear end conversion on my '78 650 (like what you did at the start of this build). Just wondering if you could PM me with tips and hints for when I start the conversion. I'm putting a rear end off a '99 ninja 900 on it, mono shocking it, etc.

Any help would be awesome :)

78 kz 650 custom
Wiseco 720cc big bore
Dynajet stage 3 carb kit with pods
2002 Kawasaki Z750 exhaust
2001 Buell lightning front end
1999 Ninja 600 swingarm with 1999 Ninja 900 rear rim
converted to monoshock rear
Too many goodies to list fully
