Thanks guys! Every job I paint turns out better than the last.

I'm close to finally firing this bitch up! I got all the electrical hooked up yesterday just need a battery n to load her up with fluids! Starting to get frustrated with my throttle cables, but im sure il/l figure it out :b

To adjust the push/pull cables I first set the pull cable with a normal amount of free play. Then tighten the push cable just until the throttle 'snaps' back. If you go to far it works against the pull cable and you have a slow return.

I tried adjusting the way the manual says but never got it to work right.

Oh wow this project is looking sweet!!! I bought my KZ1000 for $700 with the intention of chopping and bobbing. Right now I'm still trying to get it to run the way I like, but then I chop lol. You have some amazing skills at this! I can't wait to see the finished project...wow, I'm feeling motivated!

Waiting to Ride a 98' KZ1000-P
Starters out of commission...stuck on four wheels at the moment :(

My $700 project bike is on its way!

after hours of trying to login,,because i never done this before,(my wife refused to help)I have a 81 650 my wife got me for xmas,,,alot of money went into the mechanics but none in looks or body.It runs better than new and I swear its as quik as a 900.i cant personalize it because she rides with me alot,,but I would like to TRY and send you some pics if you care to see them and maybe you can give me a professional input as to what to do about the looks? We both love your work ,,,,so far.I hope you get this and hope for a reply,,,,,,CAT.

ninjaracerchick hasn't posted anything in a bout 4 months. For some reason it seems like women who buy KZ's and join this site drop out very quickly. I don't know if that's because we're are just boring, they lose interest in bikes, or because they get a look at the pictures of OMR. :laugh: :woohoo:
