Painted yesterday. I'm not a painter but it came out ok. Nothing a little color sanding and buffing wont fix. I havent painted the tail yet. Ran out of reducer. I have a Z1 tank but its not ready to paint so I painted the ltd tank for now and will paint the other when I get new emblems(still available at the dealer for 28 bucks each)

What emblems are you talking about?? My side cover emblems are not perfect.

Bike looks GREAT,,Just found this thread.
My bike is in good shape except for the dent in the tank. I got a tank from EvilBay for $30,,clean, no dents. I need the tank decals. I have found them, as a kit, for $115, but I don't need the side cover or the tail stickers, BUT I can only find the tank stickers for $75,,,I think I should buy the kit and sell the others.

Z1 tanks and LTD tanks emblems (The Kawasaki emblems) are differant sizes the screw holes on the Z1 are further apart (140mm) the LTD is 122mm

Went for the first real ride today. Ran like a top. I got the tail painted and everything legal and up to date. Gotta love that old school Kirker sound zooom zooom. I cant wait to get my full faced helmet. I guess I got spoiled riding the nomad and there aint no windshield going on this one. I guess I'm getting old B)
