By the looks of the leaves on the trees, it seems like you have a long winter headed your way soon.....

Lots of time to get it done is the positive view on that subject!

Yeah, It's a little wet here in Kalamazoo, Michigan right now too. Otherwise, I'd have to be out riding on this fine Saturday. Another carb shot...

you need this cover...make sure the one you get has the little clutch puller included this one shows it in place...it also has the sound cover vent things still in place....i have an old dirty one i could send you but it will be weeks before i dig through the garage and re-organize to actually find it...also the bolts that go in the holes to mount that cover are each diff lengths and it is better if you can find an auction with cover, clutch puller, bolts and cable as a complete take off, they turn up like that with low reserves and no bidders all the time...look to get the whole set for 35 tops shipping included on a good score

Extra tank and tail. The tank is bigger than the one on the bike. Too bad they're thrashed. I kinda dig that paint

Man, thanks again Triangelaguna for that Ebay tip. Thanks also for those wiring diagrams guys. I did mention this thing has been way down before, nice of the previous owner to "clearance" my stator cover for me. One less thing I will have to do.

When I got the bike, I discovered some previous owner had removed the starter clutch, gears, and associated hardware. The little progress I have made on the bike is here. Got the gears and most other stuff. I still need the roller bearing that goes back there and those three little springs, caps, what else?

Hey, what about this copper head gasket? Is that how a stock engine looks? Does this mean the head has been off?
