Bringing this thread back from the dead. I've made quite a bit of progress. Got the bike back on a rolling frame and put new rear shocks on it. Waiting on a spacer to come in and the rear end will be back to normal. About to buy a house with a large shop attached to it so hopefully I'll be able to start getting it closer to finishing

Was able to score a master cylinder and brake lever for a GSXR 1000 for free today. Have to make a bracket for the reservoir but I've already got that figured out, bidding on a return spring, hook, and brake spring for the rear, now I have to find my old brake pedal. Got a new set of headlight ears off of eBay, got a headlight assembly with bulb for free as well.

I've made quite a bit of progress since the last update. Finally got the engine from my dad's house and go it put in the frame and bolted down. Found my tail light assembly which was left out in the weather for about 4 years and still looks really good. Found my rear master cylinder that was seized up and after a soaking in a sonic cleaner and a few smacks with a hammer I freed up the piston and pulled it out and it was disgusting. Been working on a check list to help me stay on track so hopefully I'll have a decent looking bike before years end.

The front brake master on my 77 wing looked like that, all I did was clean it up and put it together, worked just fine. As long as the bore isn't trashed you should be good.

Progress is looking good man

Making progress, slowly but surely. Pull the top end off and figured I'd replace some small pieces while I had it apart. Going to pull the jugs off today after church and have a look at the crank and eventually replace the rings.

Took a bigger set of steps than I was expecting but a customer that comes in quite often has talked me into going deeper lol
