Go to
www.fastfromthepast.com
and see if they have a front fork brace that will fit. I have one on my bike as it greatly improves stability.

thanks, yes I have ridden it a little. pretty impressed with the power of this old slug.without even trying the front end comes right up.I think alot of that is due to the much lighter weight.lost 130 form stock.still need to get pilot circuit worked out but I think im going to wait to buy jets until I get my 83 gpz head on there.as for the guages im going with a acewell digital.yes that is a gsxr rear wheel on it.that wheel and the rear sets kinda started the whole ball rolling. The wife and i were garage saling and this guy had it sitting there bought it and a bunch of other gxsr parts.I am kinda of a tight#&* so I scrounged most of this bike from craigs list including bike itself.total amount spent on it so far is right aound 3k.only problem with the bike right now is prior to building I asked the wife if she would ride on it and back then it was no.now the bike is pretty much done shes kinda pissed there is no rear pegs.will need to come up with something??

I've always loved the classic GPz profile!
This build is being featured in our directory here: www.bikebuilds.net/kawasaki-gpz-1100-build-by-camaroguy
At this point, we're only displaying a reduced-size photo (similar to what you'd find in Google Images). We'd like to ask for your permission to publish the original full-size image with your build listing.
If anyone would like to have a build of their own listed, just send me a message with a link to the build thread and we'll take care of the rest.

Are those wheels off of a 07-08 gsxr1000? I am planning to put the same on my Rex . . . wonder what did you do for axle size and wheel spacing? Thnx
