'78 KZ1000 makeover

Look at a 75 Z1B Candy Super Blue. There is a sort of matte gold stripe in there. I snagged this photo from pete1958's gallery:

That could look pretty good- replace the gold with a dark copper pearl, replace the blue with a blood red pearl and white trim stripes. Hmmmmmmmmm.......

You need to mold some Z1 side covers.

Sure, I need a set of Z1 side covers......I'll need to put a feeler out for some covers to copy when/if the time comes

Duc midpipe and mufflers from the right. Besides the less than ideal tire to muffler clearance: Opinions?

man if you pull this off...the bar will be really high....are you gonna want folks giving input on how they see it forming as you start putting the lines to flow??

ghost paint...carbon ...black on black on black with white Kz emblems and the wheels and goodies you got...

The bike is definitly looking like a real bad ass bike.its startng to show.is what I tell the wife when im getting a project to start to look like something instead of a pile of parts.Yea I think I would be walking out into the garage to look ALOT.looking at the slip ons you have 1 instead of 2 might package in there a little tighter?kinda tuck real tight under tail?

i like to play dress up to,i didn't see where you had set the fan so that it could blow on you while you sat on it and made engine sounds :laugh: .

me,my dad and brother always kidded each other when were building our harleys and would mock em up and sit on them that we going for our visual m/c patches :silly: .

the undertail exhaust can be done,but i ain't feeling the duc stuff.i am not sure what you need to do but i am going to study on it,an get back to ya.:blink:
