I will tomorrow when I take some!

Man, spraying paint with a HVLP gun is awesome!! I've never used one before, even though I've had mine for years. It coats so well, and it takes no time to paint a bunch of stuff. I may even try to do my bodywork with it when the time comes.

I kind of screwed up the first coat, had the paint too runny, so there are one or two runs on the frame, but she's no show bike, I don't care. It's only rust paint anyways, and I missed a couple spots due to poor lighting conditions, will have to touch up with a spray bomb.

Don't worry about the drip at this point... Let it cure/dry, wet sand it and know one will know it's even there but you...

Larry's right. I don't think that we ever got a picture of the swingarm. Tyler is too busy with that trivial thing known as engineering school.

I found the same thing happens to me, with a lack of light i get runs.
i found that if u use a turret for smaller parts and halogen flood lights on a stand i can see so much better. with the extra light u can avoid runs much better. its not that the paint is too thin, its just going on too thick.
The frame must be the hardest thing i painted, so many angles so many hidden spots.
what do u guys find is the best product to clean your gun with?

Frame pics! You can still see a bit of red primer poking through in a couple spots, I'm gonna fire up the gun again tomorrow to get some more coverage. I'm really happy with the finish though. Any tips on getting into hard to reach places with the gun? I think thats the one problem I'm having.

Very nice pics of the build. Leon did a heck of a job on the swingarm, I like it.

As far as painting the hard spots are you using a cup gun or gravity feed? You should be able to dial in an HVLP gun to shoot the hard to get places

Thanks!

Its a HVLP gravity feed. But its also my first time using it. I have it set on max roundness as I'm painting tubes. How do I adjust it to tighten the spray circle?
