Yeaaaayyy Z-1 Ebterprises!!

I have purchased a few items form Z-1 Enterprises, I am always impressed.

With some apprehension i purchased a new wiring harness, the price was ahh well not cheap. I however am a big fan of Snap on tools, Starrett tools, and anything of high quality.
High Quality is always worth the money.

This harness is really nice, so if you are thinking of buying one I thought I would post a picture of it. All the connectors are good quality, and there are even grommets where they should be. The instrument light bulbs are even installed in their sockets!!!

I also purchased a new tank form them a couple years ago, very nice as well. Handlebar switches, also very nice.

Picture is worth a thousand words..

Hay 11b40, where's your Bradley Fighting Vehicle? Been smashing scooters with it lately...oh yeah...we turned it into a pit bike!

The KZ is looking better all the time. Kinda on hold with my GT due to my girl's couter, but have new wheel bearings throught out, swingarm, got the rear hub polished bla bla bla.

later.

TK, nice work. I'm a fan.. one thought, kZ's are'nt known as being hard on stators, but..they are an item which can fail without provication. simple age makes me think fresh would be insurance if going the distance. luck G

Do you know what the RAL number for the silver you had it powder coated is? It looks really nice!

Thanks !!

Pictures do not serve the powder coating justice.

I can make a phone call and see exactly what they used.

Basically it is one coat of silver, plus a coat of clear. From a distance it just looks like shiny bare metal, up close it is very glossy, just what Stoppee and I were looking for, brighten it up without too much bling.

The Stator, oh crap, Congress (my wife) will need to be petioned for another expenditure. Oh well just another contract cost overrunB)

I actually had a sudden failure of a stator once. Dropped the Eddie Lawson replica, and poof no chargie no chargie. That was a bad day. Fortunately it was the only damage.

I am running the new wirng harness through the frame today, if one of you would post some pictures of the stock routing it would sure help.

Thanks again for the compliments......

Stoppee, brang the elite scooter down here so I can put some .50 cal holes in it for decoration:lol:

Ted, thanks for the link to this forum. I can't resist a good bike forum. I'm on forums for GSX-R's, Blandits, thumpers and now KZ's. Your bike is coming along really nicely. I love the updates. I'll keep checking in here. The Mighty 160 (named the Hulk) goes to the dyno on Sat. I'm pretty excited and terrified to to see if it (1) makes any power and (2) survives. I sold a titanium pipe for my GSX-R so now I can put siding on the shop and start on the new paint booth. I can't wait for some good weather to get the KZ out and get it running for the year. Cheers.
