Roy, this is really interesting! Definately black. And no orange...hun-uh. What media are you using to cut?...silica? Looks very effective.

Black it will be!.
(I admit, orange/gold was an blind path on the everlasting road to find nice colors) :silly:

I got an suspicion that that orange color will be used on the 1000R, but in black/orange combination. :woohoo:

I am using ordinary brown sand, 0.1-0.7mm i think...
Because that alu silica can be a health risk using, even with dustmask, because the silica is coming in your lungs thru the mask, so the pro people are using fresh air mask when they are using alu silica.

BUT: There are also alu silica that is not dangerous...

And the sand is not that sharp, so the result is very good on "soft" metal. I am very satisfied with the result.
You got more "edges" when using alu silica.

I sandblasted off some orange Gun-Kote, and the paint is really sticky, its just as hard as the original on the worst.

So I got no bad feelings about this paint.
When I scrape my nail over it the paint is hardgloss.
