Thanks I try every year to keep it clean and rust free it seems to be an early model from what I'm told because it doesn't have springs holding it together? I am not up on when those were made

Looks good with the new paint.
The Yosh that came on my 650 when I bought her in '84 did not mount with springs, so they must have been made before then.

thanks im not a flashy guy so it was hard to pick a color but i like it, its 2005 MK5 GTI VW paint, Thanks for the info on the pipe, I was only guessing on the vintage, only pain in the ass thing is it goes right over the oil filter.

A bit of a pain doing oil and filter changes, but after doing it many times, it gets easier.

So last month I finally got my bike out on the track, and now I have a new addiction. I did 100 miles around Summit point and the bike was great, i was the only old bike so i did lack some speed down the straights but it was damn fun to out brake guys on new bikes and throw it around. Heres a few pics of the day, and if anyone has some info on how to help the suspension on this bike im all ears.........

Thanks I really enjoyed having that on the track, I was nervous at fist thinking I was just going to be in the way, but by mid morning I found to be pretty comfy with the bike and was passing a bit especially under braking, but i was getting to the point in bumpy areas under turnin and braking it was a bit wobbly. And yea i was stuck leaned over all damn day! I didnt know how close i came to my engine crash bar till i saw these pics........ here is a link to some of the video you can skip till the first min, I can't pass the guy in orange, is my coach for the day.... unless he gives me the pass by
