my 1980 Z1R and 900 projects

i am workin on getting the ohlins to work.i have to machine some custom nuts and bushings and go from there.here is a mockup picture.

Oh, didn't I tell ya?...those are never gonna work...better give 'em to me. :lol:

It will be interesting to here about the ride performance with the new shocks. How do you feel about the color? the Yellow seems a little loud to me,since your bike has that nice dark side look.Just me though bro. i'm sure they will work great.

i know what you mean on the color ...but i guess you get used to it and don't even notice...plus all the tenny boppers are think your the coolest:woohoo:

"if" i can get the ride i am looking for out of them i think some black springs will be in the works.i like the gold cans that go with the other gold bits that the bike has.i have been eyeballing some gold and black legs for a busa,for a possible frontend conversion next winter perhaps.

I like Øhlins ( I got ØØØØØ in my tastature! :laugh: ), they are pricy yes, but well built and nice handling.

They are even expensive on eBay...

Those shocks will be nice when you continues upgrading the bike. :woohoo:
