SO close to being done! I can already see me riding it. Next we have to tackle the engine and figure out why the #1 cylender isn't fireing. we think it might be a stuck float because we have great spark and great compression. when we pull the plug its soaked. so i got a new 4 set hope they work. I have already rebuilt the carbs twice also. Anywho. hope you all like what you see. I will post pictures when its all together. :woohoo:

Sure has come a long way. What are you pulling the motor for? Sure would be a good time to 'black' the motor out while you've got it out of overspray range of the rest of the bike!
Lookin' good,
-KR
well i guess i wont have to worry about over spray much because i have to re-spray the covers and tank. I chipped a chunk out of the pain the other day pulling off te covers. so it has to go back to the paint. This time I'm having my father's boss spray it since he HAS all the stuff to do it with. Its a different color too. A metallic blue with blue pearl. its a killer color I think. I'll have to see it on my bike before i decide its a good color though. well the reason I'm pulling the motor is because We thought we needed to replace the base gasket but we checked with a torsion bar to see it it was cranked down all the way and it wasn't so we figure that was the reason it was leaking oil. we'll see if that works.

Where did you get those shocks?
they are from Ebay. they came from Japan, but they say made in China... lol no I'm kidding. but for real, they did come from Japan and there were from Ebay. They were only 40 bucks. I think they need some more oil or something in them because they are kinda soft. Not bad though. I haven't been on the road with them so I'll soon find out. If I find out the brand of these I'll let you know.
