Hello From Old Skool Kaw owner

Hi All,

I have owned my bikes sense Mid 80's just out of high school. Road them hard for about 10 years then the responsibility thing caught up with me.There they sat getting dirty rusty and unloved looking. Now is the time to wake them up again. Sadly I'm missing the engine of one but that wont stop me from getting the others back to running condition 1st, then on to like new condition. This sight seems like a great start to my journey. looking forward to everyone's help and input.

And by the way i'm a Michigander.

third one is just a roller now. years ago I had an enclosed trailer stolen that was loaded full of bike and car parts. Really hurt because that one was juiced up 1050 kit. drag cams. sweet ride. I was never bad enough to take it to the track but several people that knew the bike and PO told me it would run high 10's all day long.

Bossie the Kaw sat under a tree for 15 years. I wound up in the hospital and had a almost termanal case of the FKit's. Daughter and grandchildren came back from Oregon, I got Bossie back on the road, my morale came back and I'm riding the piss out of it. :woohoo: It's what I needed all along.

Hi Dave, South of Detroit. We call it the Downriver area. Wyandotte, Trenton, Riverview, Gibralter, Grosse Ile are all considered Downriver.Are you a fellow Michagander?
