Hello
07 Aug 2015 23:23
Well the KZ has lured me back.
Earlier today I was perusing craigslist looking for a running moped or scooter to rob the engine from for my sons Chinese ATV and posted 11 minutes ago was a red 1978 KZ650B. My first motorcycle was a 79 KZ650C so needless to say I was powerless. Before I knew it I had perused the add decided I wanted the bike and was on the phone with the seller. A few hours later I had in the back of my truck a 2 owner, the guy I bought it from was the first, kz650. Granted it had not been started since 2002, providence same year my ex-wife sold my 79, but the engine turns over with the kick start and was in excellent cosmetic condition. So now to go through it and get her running. Figure fresh fluids, new battery, fresh gas, maybe a carb clean and see what we get.

Never happened unless there is photographic evidence. (post pics or you're just teasing)

Welcome to KZR.
And you've found yourself a nice 650 apparently.
Congrats.
