Buy it. Wiseco jugs are worth $400. Flatslides are worth that too if they are useable. I wouldn't believe everything that a seller says about mods unless he was able to produce receipts for work done.
PS I love how bikes are always advertised as scary fast, unrideable, 230 mph busa killer. As though the operator has no control of the throttle.

have the seller send me pics, if it what you are saying i would fly from OREGON and pack it up and have it shipped back, i would give 1000 for it if it was on my side of the rockies.....tomorrow. buy it put it on ebay if nothing less. or sell raffle tickets on the site for a dollar a piece and sell 1000 of them and make 600$.

Hey guys! I'm stuck in a meeting all day but I am happy with the interest this has generated. I will call the seller today to make arrangements to pick it up, hopefully Saturday. I will post pics once I get it home. I couldn't take pics when I went to look at it as it is currently stuffed in the corner of a garage behind a race car and engines on stands, etc.
I think this is an overall exciting, at least interesting find, something to generate interest amongst like-minded people. It will be fun to participate on the site. If I don't wind up taking on the project it would be neat to pass it on to someone whose progress we could follow or who could really use the parts.
I will keep you posted!!!

...update...picking it up Saturday before lunch. Guy is looking for the title at his brother's house...we'll see how that goes. Ordering the carburetor boots today from ebay.

They are from a 1977, 38mm....part number is same for both 1977 and 1978 per Bikebandit...fingers crossed.
