Global Warming....Where You Go ?

Right, the weather is not so predictable as it used to be, here up north we have already endured >30cm snow and temperatures down to -20. But today its +4 and rain.

I was reminded by FB on my post from 2012-12-24 



The Sthlm Skaergaard has it all. The white beaches, solitude, refreshing beverages and the absense of annoing waterscooters.

I would expect a jump in the frigid water next to help bring in the new year! A Scandinavian tradition? 

Very much so Wheelhop, or scubaclub always en the year with a newyears day dive, yeah we are using drysuits.

Very interesting article Steve.  Reminds me of the experiments in Australia where they introduced Cane Toads to control pests in the sugar cane fields.  There may be particles that could reflect more of the sun's energy safely but sulphur wouldn't be on my list.  When combined with water it can create sulphuric acid.  Back to the good old days of acid rain!  Still...it's worthwhile experimenting, possibly with another particle to see if it has any impact.

And I remember when I, the biggest brain in the world, I’m very smart, they won’t tell you that, proposed dropping atomic bombs into hurricanes to stop them.
