Global Warming....Where You Go ? was created by Moose1800
I live in southern Indiana and our winter's are mild most years, when I woke up this morning the temp was -9 f with wind @ 35/40 mph The wind chill was something like -35 f we only got like 1 maybe 2 inches of snow but man it's brutal outside. Hope everyone is staying warm this Christmas!!

Christmas is meant to be cold, when did you ever see a picture of Santa in "budgie smugglers" (except in one of DD's special movies)

We saw -30C yesterday.  It's warming today and we expect rain by Christmas Day.

One of the characteristics of global warming is greater weather variability.  Higher highs, lower lows, drier drys and bigger rainstorms and floods.  I recall hearing several months ago that there is a La Nina cold spot in the Pacific ocean that is expected to influence weather this winter.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Its always warmer here in the low desert. That's why we have snowbirds during the winter. Our coldest month is February. Nothing abnormal here. The weather keeps changing and has been forever.
That is unless HAARP is active then all bets are off.

-5F today, with 30-40mph wind gusts.

Just for grins, I went to the mailbox in jeans and a t-shirt to experience the cold firsthand. It was pretty bracing.

Yesterday in Boston it was 55F and raining. Today I woke up to 9F. I look out my window and my stupid mayor salted the perfectly dry streets. Meaning, no more riding until the streets are clear of salt. Which should be next weekend where it’s forecasted to be 55F and raining at some point.
Go figure.

I live in Tucson AZ near Davis-Monthan AFB. On base is a campground for RVs which is always full during the winter months. Sometimes to overflow. It stays full until late spring.

I don't have a plan and I'm sticken' to it! '77 KZ 650 / 750 GPz custom project in progress

Not wishing to speak for Marty in Buffalo but he is probably used to heavy snows in his area due to "lake effect" moisture. Still hope he is well and enjoy his posts on this site!
