Gas producers will sell to the highest bidder while keeping supply low to keep prices high, they have no obligation to sell to a domestic market. They have refused to grow even when asked to. They literally are telling this to journalists does no one read this stuff?!

natural gas pipe lines are not necessarily relevant to what you pay at the pump.

the main reason i referenced that site is because that particular article reference the Financial Times article which is behind a pay wall, i was trying to keep it accessible to everyone. Every article, regardless of the source and author, needs to be critically evaluated. The article i linked to is mostly quotes from executives in the fossil fuel sector which is what i was after, whereas the article you linked reads more like an editorial. funny because they are the same author, contradicting themselves!

The oil industry is sitting on over 9000 drill permits but are not pursuing them because they currently are raking in the cash. pipelines are not the only way to transport oil. also you dont need more pipelines when you are operating below prepandemic volume. volume is lower in 2021 because they claim "supply chain issues" but i think we all know its just old fashioned price gouging. they are making cash hand over fist, why upset that balance?

Ha ha try not to get political on here but really cracks me up how people still defend this administration even after they have screwed up everything they touch . Those are the facts . Check them any way you want . Its not just gas prices .

This CNN article exposes what I said that the current administration is placing it thumb on the scale of supply and demand and skewing prices. Read down in this article to where it says on day one “Biden restored the climate cost estimate to roughly $51 per ton of carbon dioxide emissions, following the Trump administration decision to cut the number to roughly $7 or less per ton and account only for the impacts in the U.S. rather than across the world.” They are trying to make big oil pay for climate change. This places the administration directly responsible for higher gas prices.

We’ve been down this road before. How come when we get a Democratic President gas prices go up. How soon we forget Obama saying we can solve the energy crisis by inflating our tires. At the very end of this video Obama claims to be investing in making fuel out of Algae. What happened to that investment. Hummm! I’d say that was a 14 million dollar payback to his supporters that helped him carry Florida. 

Edit, its worse that I remember. I never defended him. Biden is about as appealing as a second asshole. There are tons of issues to attack him on, I was correcting the flagrant bullshit that is getting posted here. I'm well aware that this is a loosing battle. I was only participating to prove a point.... and with that ill go poke my eyes out to avoid this thread like the culture cancer it is.

$5.09 this morning… something has to stop this garbage. 

They've been telling us what they're going to do for 20 years. Agenda 21 was taken as a joke but now with current events few are laughing now. They almost had it in 2016 but they had to extend it till 2030. Now the big push is on and they're not hiding it. Yes it's not just about gas.
