Made an offer based on your suggestion, and was slapped. So got to thinking someone here might have a nice set idling in a box.

Had a friend with a new Suzuki 1000S... One day he dropped it off the stand and ever so slightly bent the handle bars and and put a small dent in the tank.... I have the bars on my bike and he bought a new tank from Suzuki ...... he said he didn't want the bike unless it was perfect ..... sometimes when I look at your bike I think of him saying that Daveo. ;)

Skidded under a stopped car's rear bumper one time, back in 2000. The front fender crumpled over the tire. After two hours working the dent out that day, I rode with the battle scar all that season and into the next.
Johny's had a brand new fender on ebay, promptly claimed. Best $75 ever, and now a few tiny stone chips. Never seen another NOS Luminous Passion Red one for sale since
Last summer was the pit. Some idiot drove his car up my rear tire at a stop light. Smashed the rear fender all to hell, but fortunately I had an old spare. Good as new (almost) still.
I relish new-like used acquisitions, and tolerate old age for the most part. :)
So there...
