Thanks Guyz
Think we are going a bit off topic in places.
It is too small to be the rear axle spanner for any Z650, 900,1000 I have seen.
They are all well over 20mm in size.
Was hoping someone might recognise off another bike.
Would have to be a moped to have rear axle nut this small - I am guessing
Keep trying anyhow.
I know the rear axle spanner has an extender handle in the kit from the factory.

I didn't read the topic post carefully enough. The tool kit for my 81 650-CSR came w a 19mm box wrench similar to that & it fits the front axle nut.

Edit: it has Kawasaki cast into it.

I guess martin might have the right answer? Yet still cant be a kawasaki tool, no markings.

Uhh chinese pit bike axle wrench? Moped tool? Oh wait looking at it wrong! It's a bottle opener!!

Ok the CSR 19mm spanner is open ended so close but not right.

Someone in the UK has now id'd it as part code 92110-1011 which is a 19mm ring spanner used on EX500 and EX305 bikes which are known as "GPZ" in Europe.

So I am going with that for now - unless someone knows better !!

Thanks for looking - from Mark

Maybe it's the wrench for the KZ 1000 axle bolt itself. My Z1 axle was bent from the wreck in 86. The Z1's were crazy expencive so I bought one from the Old Kaw Man on line. The early style had a hole in it for a screw driver to hold it while tightening the nut. Here's a pic. Sorry for the dirt, on the road.

No idea what your axle is from, but i have five kz1000's at my house and none have a hex head on both sides; they all have a hole in one side and castle nut on the other end.

I found a near identical wrench in a honda toolkit today, 19 made in japan but has RK on the back, and I have no idea what bike it came from either. So still no idea, I have a few yamaha kits somewhere and maybe a suzuki or two and my H2 and Z1 toolkits I can look in, but I think it's possibly an oddball tool

Most likely from a shaft drive model which doesnt have a cotter key or a hole drilled for use of a cotter key... Which sounds like a dissaster waiting to happen
