while I was wrestling with whether to paint or not, I was having the damndest time to get the front brakes to bleed. Everything was new, including steel braided lines... but couldnt get a good bleed. Then I was watching the master and realized that tiny hole on the return fluid side wasn't doing anything. It definitely felt like air in the system. So I took a small wire and poked the return hole and sure enough...it was plugged...phew! Its the little things that can mess something up!

Good you found it, I had the same on a KH400. When riding the front brake used to hold on then as it heated up it would start binding tighter and tighter

Moving right along and looking great.
When I did my seat, I bought the ELR seat cover and then took it and the old seat to an upholsterer which cost me north of $180 so you did really good.

I bought an ELR cover also and took it to the upholstery shop. We couldnt get it to fit right and in the end I asked how much to make one and when he said $150...do it. Ill use the ELR cover on my ELR tribute!

Well, on to the carbs. Sonic cleaned, glass beaded, cerakoted, rebuilt and reassembled...looks much better I think!

Ok, next, paint. Matching the firecracker red was a lil challenging, but it turned out nice I think. Patience in sanding is key to a good paint job.

Couldnt let the windscreen not get a lil loving...hit it with some 1500 grit, 2000 grit, 3000 grit, then cut and polish!

Devil is in the details. These badges are not going to work, so giving them some loving too. Along with the alt cover. And then my lil score!! Haven't seen one since the 80's...sweet!

Nice work but I am starting to question my own ability when reading about yours to get things done.
