I see now. I may just keep looking onto I find a decent seat with a good pan to be modified

I noticed that there are much oprion for an aftermarket seat unless I spent over $500

It’s weird how the fender mount is different, think it would be similar, almost have to cut some stuff off to get what you want. Or find crappy seat with Good pan , then find a upholstery guy. I had new foam and custom color and stitching for seems like 100$ or less, ten years ago Some guys in here have made some cool stuff from scratch. Look around , lots of ideas here.

I just realized I made a big mistake.....

So a few months back I got a gas tank for this project. I thought I got a gas tank that would fit the frame, well I was wrong. The tank I got is for a kz1000 which wont seat correctly into the frame

I have spent so much time and money on getting this tank ready that is making sick just thinking about is the incorrect one

Does anyone know if anyone has been able to make the kz1000 tank to seat correctly into a kz1100 frame? I was thinking all I may need is to trim the fame damper location

Remove front end and in the next couple days would be installing the zx6r front end
