By gordone: I have never liked the front fender, the way its mounted to the bracket with 4 bolts and nuts....

...
I've never seen a fender like that with fasteners on top. so then I checked partzilla & sure enough, that's how some were done. weird.

I have had problem with the brake lines touch the mud cover, I ordered some spacers on eBay and painted them black, I think the problem is solved now.

I have gotten some help here:

Today took I the bike out for the first time from winter storage, spring is here now :)

I installed the new exhaust system, happy with the results. I also flushed the gas tank with new gas (have stored it with WD-40).

Looking forward to start up the bike with the new exhaust system, maybe tomorirow :)

I damaged the spark plug threads on cylinder 2 some days ago, have got some help here:
kzrider.com/forum/2-engine/610761-damage...eads-to-spark#804935

Today was I at the mail office to get the Wurth timecert kit I have bought for a good price. I don`t know if Wurth is common in US? In Europe in stand for quality parts...
I diden`t had any problem using it, and I think the results is quite good. The insert could have been longer, you can see it from the picture, but I have now threads from approx. 80% of total.

Fun to be able to fix things self :)

Next Friday is the plan to take a weekend trip, stop working after lunch and drive rest of the day and Saturday and Sunday, a road-trip :)

Wurth aka. Würth is a German Automobile tool and equipment supplier.

eshop.wuerth.de/Product-categories/Threa...1401.cgid/en/US/EUR/

BTW: In German language the letter ä = ae / ö = oe / ü = ue are so called special spoken vocals and the German grammar is more complicated.
