New rebuild after 10 years "deep sleep" mode

PMC parts are great. I have a connection in Japan. Rick Degan, runs a Business there. And in California with his brother. He was getting me cool parts 10 years ago. Before anyone in the USA saw them. Rick actually married his Japanese language teacher from Buffalo State College. 20 yrs. ago. Then moved to Japan now. He can't wait to retire and come back to the USA. But, whatever. Have some time and did some long overdue maintenance on my project bike today.
Drain the oil and pull the oil pan and oil pump for a in-depth cleaning.





Remove the oil pump screen to remove gasket residues



Everything clean now and ready to go back into the engine

BTW, the oil pan swing door mod i have done 20 years ago.

A cheap Chinese copy of the  KOSO RX2N+ GP called SS182 was sold on amazon/aliexpress/ alibaba sometimes for 45 Euros but no thanks.

To refresh my bike build threat here some facts and paper work of my technical inspection/homologation and the technical report.
The testing engineer was impressed about the driving and cornering abilities of my bike! He said he never think about it and have driven an old modified bike like this!!!He took an 30 minutes test drive with all possible driving conditions with a full safety clothing on a +37 Celsius afternoon.I thought after 15 minutes he wrecked my bike/engine, (high speed highway was 200 meters away).
But to complete my technical inspection for street legal use i need an anti theft steering look. He made a 16 page report with pics of the ZX9R parts for the data base and say i have to come back with a steering lock to confirm my build steet legal for free of cost. It cost me 290 Euros for the 2 hour paperwork and test drive but i am happy with the result. A steering lock, a small step for me, a big step to go on the road street legal,hahahahaha!!!

Some little news to my project bike.
I could not resist and have to buy some parts for the long winter evenings.
Bought a mono swing arm/Susuki motor frame conversion kit,Kawasaki frame bracing kit and a gsxr 1100 Motor for 250 Euro from Z-Fever.de.
Does anyone know if it is worth to do a engine swap like this???

Thats pretty cool and a great deal. the oil cooled GSXRs are well engineered engines. With some small mods the 1100 will make a real 140hp to the wheel! I imagine the biggest problem you will run into is how the flexible KZ frame deals with that huge increase in power. Frame brace kit is a good start but i would personally would go overboard and add extra bracing. Also, if possible, oversize the engine mounting bolts to tie it all together.

Made a big clean up and order, plus a tools upgrade for my man cave the last two weeks.

Do a quick mock up for my mono swing arm winter project yesterday.

Remove my rear wheel and swing arm today.
Took me one hour to remove all necessary parts.







Should i or should i not go mono shock???
