No,no.He says its fitted with a 'custom seat 'but he ill throw in the original seat (in fantastic condition). In fact he seems to have a lot of the original parts which hes including as part of the deal. So,for the purists, It could be switched back to original trim.Or if you have a beard and drink a lot of espresso, keep it as is.

Anyway,This is deviation. Though something for the OP to consider, if you do go ahead with chopping your bike.Keep hold of the orignal bits. If you decide to sell it on you can sweeten the deal. Or !just sell the bits to finance the build.

I agree. This is pretty much what I'm doing. I was going to keep the original parts but there at least 3 builds right now that could use the parts i 'm taking off so i decided to share. There are alot of things you can do without doing permanent alterations. You can have a ton of fun just figuring out how cool you can get it without chopping stuff off.

Since you have pretty much the standard version of my bike which is considered the super/sport-bike you can do alot by mixing and matching parts. I've actually decided to do as much as I can by recycling parts off other models of Kawasakis. I've been pretty successful so far. The most common parts donor has been the early ZR7.

Ride it until the tires are bald.
Buy new tires.

It's your bike, do what you want, if you have a vision, go for it. We are not taking about butchering a classic one off bike. Just don't half ass it. Do it right and set the bar for yourself and others on the right way to build a custom bike. And have fun!

Perfect example of header wrap degradation, great if you're King Tut, though.

The CR's look nice though. Are 29's what you want on a 750?
