How is that national on the site. I like to look over a shield not thru? Been looking at the Slipstreamer Hellfore, but is may be a bit short. I am 5'9" so that may be fine. R

The one on my bike is just below eye level. You can raise or lower it. The angle of the dangle  makes a difference too. I played with it until I had it where I wanted it to be. Been having high winds out here lately. I can sit up and cut right through it. Before the wreck I had a bikini faring. I remember tucking down behind it. Wouldn't want to go 100 miles like that. :S

So I rerouted the main harness a bit so that the harness comes though on the left side in front of the coils and goes around not between the coils. It seems to have worked. No more misfires or arcing. A few pics. R

They're awful close to the engine. Mine are in the back bone rails.

Nice work R! Bike L@@Ks great man! I enjoyed the ride-along vid too. Kinda' vicarious riding through others thing is super cool.

I got to thinking about the ignition arcing issues. Seems like all your connectors are covered or shielded so maybe it's just that big old connector? I see in one picture that one end of the connector is unshielded. Maybe that just needs a wee bit o' electrical tape to protect the open-end wires?

I am gonna splice and heat shrink new ones. I really think it was routing. I had the main harness through coils and I do not think it should have gone there. Probably causing a lot of electrical interference. Thanks. R

I had a problem that sounds similar to yours, and in my case the issue was the pickup coils. If that's what you're using and the problem persists, there's a simple test with a multimeter mentioned in the manual you can use to determine if they're still good.
