The 16/19 wheel combo can look good when done right. I believe this bike by Macco has the stock 16/19 wheels and even the leading axle forks. It's not a 550, but you get the idea.

Ok, so next question.

The last owner had the vacuum line from the petcock running to one of the ports on the intakes.
I see there is a port on the furthest right carb.

That's where its actually supposed to go, yeah?

You are correct. The petcock vac went to the #4 carb itself.

Two of the four intake ports were capped (the two inner ones, which point down), and the two outer ones went to the emissions control valve.

IF you follow the links in my sig, you will find a TK22 carb website for your carbs.

alright. I got the carbs back on and the throttle reattached.
I just need to get the airbox to carb boots and some good quality clamps for the intakes.
I threw the old grips from my G3ss on just for the time being, until I get new ones.

They were still like new. Soft rubber without any cracks,
Like I said, the bike had been all rebuilt, then just sat for a year.

If these are the ones you're talking about, they need to be replaced.

Notice the small cracks where they meet the head. They get hard and crack there. Mine were like that. Some use silicon or something else to seal them but it doesn't work for long. I used  Permatex to seal mine until I could buy new ones. They worked better but when I put the new ones on everything changed. I got mine here.

Mine are for the later model being I have 33mm carbs.

I'll definitely look into getting new intakes soon once I'm a little further along in the build.

I'm looking around for tires for the bike now.
It has the stock Dunlops still on it, 3.25s19 and MU90s16.

I was able to find that the rear tire would convert to a 130/90r16, but I couldn't find a straight answer on the front. Could anybody point me in the right direction here?

Thanks.
