I'm not sure what your asking. Everything is from CWS. The battery cables, the flasher and the box.

They weren't a direct fit, apparently the GPz has some differences from the KZs he built them for. The original box is hard wired instead of having a 4 pin connector so I had to clip that off and splice 5 out of 6 wires in. I'll solder them after a while if I don't have any issues, which is also the case for my other electrical retrofits. I also had to locate the box behind the battery since it was too large to fit under the side cover. I put the positive on backwards because the boots don't fit my battery terminals but it covers the solenoid nicely. I had to clip of one hard wired lead off the original positive cable that goes to the regulator which I put a ring connector on and attached under the battery cable at the solenoid. I took the boot off the negative since it didn't fit well on either end.

I'm talking about the main cables for the ground and the positive cable. The factory solders them so the acid vapors don't get in and corrode the connections.

I see, I didn't notice but sounds like a good idea if it hasn't been done. I'll check and get on it if I have to.

I just took her for a spin with my "new" ZRX shocks.

Rides great. I also got involved in an airbox discussion and ended up modifying the filter cap which works very nice I'm going to have to make some adjustments but i like the way its running.

After looking at the pics in the previous post then looking at some earlier pics I think I'm going to go back to the original style side panels. Especially with the ZRX shocks.

It was perched behind the headlight bucket for a few miles then it must have bounced off the pavement then lodged itself into the header.

By the time I got to work it had burned through the rubber cover. The nut was still there and the tip was OK so I put it back on.

I swung by the indie pats shop on the way home and bought a cable that was about 2" shorter which I needed anyway since I dropped the dials about 2 1/2". If you look at the later pics there's a ton of slack.

No work done on it lately unless you count the new rear tire and I haven't had quite a year yet. I'm just enjoying it right now.

Here's my favorite pic of it so far.

I found myself kind of homebound this weekend so I put the new bar switches on. I can actually turn my bike again!

It would have been nice if I had some sort of wiring diagram but I managed. Now I have to find a new throttle cable. It's set up for the regular threaded tube end which the GPz doesn't have. There was too much tension ton the cable and it was holding the throttle open. I trimmed the plastic end a little to remove the tension but now it's just a bit slack.

Maybe for a KZ650 from a few years earlier?
