After some small issues that aroused during “shake-down”, steering neck that was not properly tightened, massive brake fluid leak from rear copper washers, things rubbing against each other. The stuff you expect, but now she purrs like a charm and runs like a frecking freight train.

Still needs some paint on the rims and the engine covers, a overhaul of the Zephyr 1100 fork and the GSX-R 600 front brake calipers then I will only enjoy it.

 So now, what’s next . . .

Looking good Anders.  Your side stand looks good, did you modify anything to get it to stand up without too much lean, mine sits on a much more extreme angle, I'm thinking of removing the mount from the frame and repositioning it to get it ti sit straighter. I've seen lots of Kawasaki's that lean too far over on the side stand...

Email sent too mate...

Unfortunately I had forgotten all about the extreme sidestand lean angle when I prepareded the frame for paint. How I could have forgotten the close to death experience I had in a fast left hander on Falkeberg raceway back in the eighties when I hit the tarmac with the lump of sidestand mount and was close to end my racing career there and then.

But you are perfectly right Mike, that sidestand needs some kind of modification.
Back the I just cut the mount of with a angle grinder, but having a street bike without both center or side stands requires a constant supply of trees or houses when parking, something that limits the available parking options.

Or you could bungee one of these to the passenger seat when you ride.
