To me, I wouldnt care what others say to do.

Cant tell without better pics BUT it almost looks like if you put some shocks on it, the right gas tank (that looks like a sporster tank, just get a 400/440 tank on) and welded the obligatory "cafe hoop" on you'd be 90% there. That wouldnt be that much work, as long as you can weld. Cafe's arent my bag though

my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550

Do you already own it? How does it run? Guys can get attached to their machines. Just look at me, you'd have to peel my cold dead fingers of the throttle. Up to you. If you want to keep it, find a wrecked one for cheap and switch parts. Your choice.

If you are gonna put a cafe seat on it you likely will want to change the subframe anyway. I would just fix and modify what you have than deal with the hassle of a new frame. It looks like only the rear hoop was removed. shouldn't be too hard to fix

Alright I suppose that will work. I just got super excited when I found an NOS frame for that cheap. My mind went crazy because I saw a perfect cafe starting point.
